On November 9th, 2018 McLean Drama Company (MDC) partnered with the
National Press Club (NPC) in Washington, DC to host the premiere
performance of “NPC/MDC Theater,” featuring a series of three
award-winning ten-minute plays performed by National Press Club members
alongside actors and directors from the McLean Drama Company. This
spirited event was held in the Cosgrove Lounge on Friday, November 9 at
6:00 p.m.
Founded by the late Rachael Bail, a long-time member of the National
Press Club, the McLean Drama Company was created as a forum for new work
and new plays, with an emphasis on the work of women in the theater. It
was an entertaining homecoming of sorts, as MDC's first staged readings
were at the National Press Club more than 15 years ago.
Stay tuned for more information regarding further upcoming events.
